Everyone can be successful with math! If new concepts make you scratch your head and it takes you a while to catch on, you are not alone. Me too! I have to think carefully, draw pictures, and often make a lot of errors before I get a new math skill right. Mistakes are welcome in my math class, because mistakes are evidence that we are learning (& mistakes are good for our brains!)
When I am not teaching math, I love to listen to music, browse used bookstores, & play tennis. I'm an NC State alumnus, but I cheer for both the Wolfpack & the Tarheels (my wife is a Carolina girl).
